TAKE YOUR MEDICINE BACK.
Rootworth is a movement against billing-code medicine.

Plants, not patents.
Practitioners, not algorithms.
Patients, not market segments.
WE BELIEVE
- Real medicine has roots.
- The body is not a market.
- Symptoms are messengers.
- The script is broken.
- Plants, not patents.
- Practitioners, not algorithms.
- Patients, not market segments.
- The heart has a voice.
- Speak from it.

The script is broken.
The script is the standardized protocol that says: a patient presents with X, prescribe Y, schedule a follow-up in N weeks. When the script does not work — when the patient does not respond, or has side effects, or has a condition that does not fit the codes — the script does not have a next move. The clinician’s only authorized response is to try another script.
Rootworth refuses the script. We read the patient.
The body is not a market.
Modern medicine has organized itself around what can be billed, not around what can be healed. Insurance codes name conditions; pharma companies fund the research that defines them; algorithms route patients through standardized protocols built for billing efficiency. The body becomes inventory.
Rootworth refuses this. The body is not inventory. It is a person.
Plants, not patents.
The pharmaceutical model patents synthesized molecules so they can charge for them. The herbal lineage uses what grows from the earth — which cannot be patented, because nobody invented it. The roots are public. The formulas are public; a two-thousand-year-old text is not a trade secret. What is private is the practitioner’s judgment in matching the right combination to the right person at the right time. That is not patentable either. It is craft.
The campaigns
- 01 — Take Your Medicine Back. Reclaiming herbal medicine from pharmaceutical capture.
- 02 — Plants, Not Patents. What grows from the ground cannot be patented.
- 03 — Refuse The Script. Read the patient. Do not run a protocol.
- 04 — Local Rebellion. Local-grown herbal practice as cultural counter-movement.
- 06 — The Heart Has A Voice. Recruitment by what we are for, not what we are against.
- 07 — Stick It To The System. Doctor’s orders.
Join the practice. Begin in the chambers. Speak from the heart. When the public intake opens, we will name the date.
